Axton Connection Mall

 



As a way to connect real-world experience to our study of economics, first grade classes hosted for parents the "Axton Connection Mall."  Each classroom was home to 5 different "shops" that provided goods and services to visiting parents and friends. 

 

Room 20 had the "Art Emporium" which sold student works of art, the "Eagle Eatery" which sold refreshments, the "Eagle Urgent Care," "Shine On" which provided a shoe shine service, and "Plant and Grow Flowers" which sold floral arrangements.  The students had fun while learning what it was really like to work a "real" job.

Saul, Weston, and Abigail sell student artwork at the "Art Emporium."

Christian, Savannah, and Roger work to diagnose Mrs. Dixon's illness at the "Eagle Urgent Care."
