100th Day of School!

If I had a one hundred dollar bill I would buy a dog.  I would play fetch with him.  And I would race with him.

I like the 100th day of school.  What does the 100th day of school mean?  It means that we do a lot of stuff.

At school on Monday we had 100th day.  Do you like 100th day?  I think it was fun, really fun.

If I had 100 dollars, I would buy a tiny unicorn that makes ice cream, rainbow ice cream.  And a ball that makes ice cream.  I love ice cream!

If I had 100 dollars, I would buy a brown monkey to help me.  He is a good monkey.

If I had 100 dollars, I would buy race cars.  I would give Christopher some.  And then we play together.

Micah worked to count the collection of 100 objects he brought from home.

These children enjoyed creating 100 days crowns.

Miyana counted her 100 pennies.

Making the 100th day snack (with 100 pieces, of course!) was lots of fun.

These children searched for numbers 1-100 using Bingo markers.

The 100 bead necklace in Drewry Mason colors was a hit!

Lucas counted to 100 as he made his snack.

Keep working on those necklaces!

Working the 100 piece puzzle proved to be a challenge.

Friday Reading Buddies

The children enjoyed their first Friday getting to read with a reading buddy!  They read more fluently and longer since they had someone listening!  😉

At the beach, it is my mom, sister, and me.  The beach is fun.  Do you like the beach?

Pom Pom Poppers

In science we are learning about Force and Motion.  To model how pushes and pulls can cause motion, the children created "Pom Pom Poppers."  Watch the videos below to see their "poppers" in action!

Reindeer Day!

On Tuesday, December 19, our class enjoyed celebrating "Reindeer Day."  We made reindeer sandwiches, reindeer ornaments, and a nonfiction reindeer book.  The children enjoyed listening to the original "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" story.  A special thank you to Ms. White, Mrs. Shirley, and Mrs. Wilkerson for helping us out that day!

We did reindeer day and it was fun.  We got to make reindeer and we made reindeer sandwiches.  We got to eat them.  The best part about it was we all had fun.

Reindeer day is one of the best times of the year.  On Reindeer Day, I got to make a jelly sandwich and an ornament.  It was fun.
