Our students had the opportunity to visit the STEM Lab from Danville's Institute for Advanced Learning and Research.  STEM stands for "Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics."  The pictures below show some of the interesting experiments the children were fortunate to see and participate in.

Duke Dog has been busy!

Below are three stories about Duke Dog's adventures with our students.  The students are certainly enjoying having him visit them at their homes.

Damion's story:

Me and Duke Dog played with my 3DS.  Duke Dog met my toys.  And he watched TV with me.

Jay's story:
Duke dog and I were swinging.  Duke Dog met all of my toys.  Duke dog helped me win on Mario Brothers.  Duke Dog also helped me do my homework.

Roger's story:
I watched TV with Duke dog and we built a Lincoln log town, while waiting on the school bus.  We played on the iPad together.  Me, Mom, and Duke dog danced oppa gangnam style.  Yesterday we watched the Polar Express.  We had a good weekend, Duke dog and I.
