My friend hit the garage door button and it almost crushed me! It hurt my back.  It didn't hurt that bad and I didn't cry.  It was an accident.  His finger got stuck!

I love Halloween and Halloween is fun.  I got to see my cousins and my cousins loved Halloween.  We got a lot of candy.

I like to play baseball because it is fun.  But you can get hurt.  My brother did not get hurt.  I will not get hurt.  But another person got hit in the face.  I was there too.

Great performance, first grade!

On Tuesday,  November 10, first graders from DME performed a variety of fall songs and poems at the monthly PTA meeting.  Everyone did well,  and the audience could really tell how hard everyone worked to prepare for the performance.  Great job,  first grade!

In October,  members of the local Charity League came and taught us about germs and the importance of washing our hands.  We hope it helps us all stay healthy this winter!
