The children had so much fun on Reindeer Day! We enjoyed eating reindeer sandwiches, making a non fiction reindeer book, creating a reindeer ornament, and identifying the story elements of the classic Christmas story, "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

Christmas Around the World
Students learned about different holiday traditions from around the world. One tradition is from Germany. Students placed one shoe outside the classroom door. After waiting for a few minutes, the sound of jingle bells filled the hallway. The children discovered "St. Nicholas" had left them treats in their shoes. What fun!
